Apply high-temperature grease to the planetary gears of the planetary shaft.

Perform pull-in test:

Remove the nut, and disconnect the lead wire from terminal C.

Disconnect the 2 wire harness clamps from the wire harness clamp bracket.

Install the 4 glow plugs.

Remove the No. 1 engine cover.

Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the glow plug terminal and ground.
