Description DTC P1607

The ECM continuously monitors its main and sub CPUs. This self-check ensures that the ECM is functioning properly. If outputs from the CPUs are different and deviate from the standard, the ECM illuminates the MIL and stores a DTC immediately.

Description. Wiring diagram. Inspection procedure. Read value using intelligent tester (stop light switch). Inspect stop light switch assembly. Check harness and connector (ecm - stop light switch assembly).

Description. Wiring diagram. Inspection procedure. Perform active test using intelligent tester (operate vsv for acis). Inspect vsv for acis (operation). Check harness and connector (vsv for acis - ecm, vsv for acis - efi no. 2 fuse). Check vacuum hose. Inspect intake air surge tank (intake air control valve).
