DTC P0657 Actuator Supply Voltage Circuit / Open
Description DTC P0657
The ECM monitors the output voltage to the throttle actuator. This self-check ensures that the ECM is functioning properly. The output voltage is usually 0 V when the ignition switch is turned off. If the output voltage is higher than 7 volts when the ignition switch is turned off, the ECM will illuminate the MIL and store a DTC when the ignition switch is turned to ON.
DTC Code | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area |

Inspection procedure
HINT:
Read freeze frame data using the intelligent tester. Freeze frame data records the engine condition when malfunctions are detected. When troubleshooting, freeze frame data can help determine if the vehicle was moving or stationary, if the engine was warmed up or not, if the air fuel ratio was lean or rich, and other data from the time the malfunction occurred.
