  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT

  3. REMOVE TOOL BOX

  4. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE

  5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT

  6. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM SIDE COVER INNER LH

  7. REMOVE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU

Seat Belt Control Ecu -- Removal



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.


2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT

  1. Remove the floor mat.



3. REMOVE TOOL BOX

  1. Remove the tool box.



4. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE

  1. Remove the 3 clips labeled A.

  1. Detach the 4 clips to remove the finish plate.



5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT

  1. Detach the hook.

  1. Remove the rope hook.

  1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the trim cover.



6. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM SIDE COVER INNER LH


Lexus Gs430, Gs300. Uzs190 Grs190

  1. Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips and trim cover.



7. REMOVE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU


    Lexus Gs430, Gs300. Uzs190 Grs190.Seat Belt.Seat Belt Tension Reducer.Seat Belt Control Ecu Removal

  1. Remove the 3 nuts and disconnect the ECU.



    Lexus Gs430, Gs300. Uzs190 Grs190.Seat Belt.Seat Belt Tension Reducer.Seat Belt Control Ecu Removal

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Remove the nut.

  1. Detach the claw and remove the ECU.
