Seat Belt Control Ecu -- Removal |
| 1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- CAUTION:
- Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
| 2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT |

Remove the floor mat.
| 3. REMOVE TOOL BOX |
 |
Remove the tool box.
| 4. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE |
 |
Remove the 3 clips labeled A.
Detach the 4 clips to remove the finish plate.
| 5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT |
 |
Detach the hook.
Remove the rope hook.
 |
Detach the 4 claws and remove the trim cover.
 |
| 6. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM SIDE COVER INNER LH |
 |
Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips and trim cover.
| 7. REMOVE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU |
Remove the 3 nuts and disconnect the ECU.
 |
Disconnect the connector.
 |
Remove the nut.
Detach the claw and remove the ECU.
