Quarter Window Glass (For Extra Cab) -- Installation

Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
The procedure listed below is for the RH side.
A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (HILUX_TGN26 RM00000118R007X.html).

1. INSTALL QUARTER WINDOW WEATHERSTRIP RH

2. INSTALL QUARTER WINDOW HINGE RH

Install the 2 quarter window hinges, 2 bushes, 2 quarter window hinge retainers and 2 washers with the 2 screws.

3. INSTALL QUARTER WINDOW LOCK ASSEMBLY RH

Install the quarter window lock assembly RH, bush and quarter window hinge retainer with the screw.

4. INSTALL QUARTER WINDOW GLASS RH

Install the quarter window assembly RH with the 2 bolts.
Torque:
5.0 N*m{51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf}

5. CHECK FOR LEAKS AND REPAIR

6. INSTALL INNER UPPER ROOF SIDE GARNISH RH

7. INSTALL QUARTER PILLAR GARNISH RH

Connect the front seat belt shoulder anchor with the bolt.
Torque:
42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}

8. INSTALL QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD RH

Attach the 7 clips, 3 guides and 4 claws to install the quarter inside trim board RH.

Connect the front seat outer belt floor anchor with the bolt.
Torque:
42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}

9. INSTALL LOWER BACK PANEL GARNISH

Attach the 5 clips, 2 guides and 6 claws to install the lower back panel garnish.

10. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY

11. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM RH

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

12. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

13. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
