  1. INSTALL FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

  2. INSTALL SHOULDER BELT ANCHORAGE PLATE COVER

  3. INSTALL QUARTER PILLAR GARNISH LH

  4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  5. INSTALL QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD LH

  6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM LH

  7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  8. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

  9. INSTALL UPPER BACK PANEL GARNISH

  10. INSTALL LOWER BACK PANEL GARNISH

  11. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Cushion)

  12. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Seat Cushion)

  13. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

  14. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly (For Extra Cab) -- Installation


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  2. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
  3. A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (HILUX_TGN26 RM00000118R007X.html).


1. INSTALL FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

  1. Insert the tip of the adjuster into the body as shown in the illustration.

  1. Install the front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly with the bolt.

    Torque:
    42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}


2. INSTALL SHOULDER BELT ANCHORAGE PLATE COVER

  1. Install the shoulder belt anchorage plate cover as shown in the illustration.

    HINT:
    Make sure the plate cover is properly set into the garnish guides.

3. INSTALL QUARTER PILLAR GARNISH LH

  1. Attach the 2 clips to install the quarter pillar garnish.

  1. Connect the front seat belt shoulder anchor with the bolt.

    Torque:
    42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}

  1. Attach the 4 claws to install the front seat belt shoulder anchor cover.



4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  1. w/o Pretensioner:
    Align the front seat outer belt assembly LH positioning holes with the claws.
    Install the retractor of the front seat outer belt assembly LH with the bolt.

    Torque:
    42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}

  1. w/ Pretensioner:
    Align the front seat outer belt assembly LH positioning holes with the claws.
    Install the retractor of the front seat outer belt assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    4.8 N*m{49 kgf*cm, 42 in.*lbf}for bolt A
    Torque:
    42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}for bolt B

  1. w/ Pretensioner:
    Connect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.

  1. Install the shoulder anchor with the bolt.

    Torque:
    42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}

  1. Attach the cap.



5. INSTALL QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD LH

  1. Attach the 7 clips, 3 guides and 4 claws to install the quarter inside trim board.

  1. Connect the rear No. 1 seat outer belt floor anchor with the bolt.

    Torque:
    42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}

  1. Connect the front seat outer belt floor anchor with the bolt.

    Torque:
    42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}


6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM LH

  1. Align the paint mark on the front door opening trim with the mark position on the vehicle and install the front door opening trim as shown in the illustration.

7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  1. Attach the 4 clips and 8 claws to install the front door scuff plate.



8. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Place the rear seatback assembly in the cabin.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  1. Attach the 2 hooks to the vehicle body.

  1. Install the rear seatback assembly with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    39 N*m{398 kgf*cm, 29 in.*lbf}


9. INSTALL UPPER BACK PANEL GARNISH

  1. Attach the 5 clips and 4 claws to install the upper back panel garnish.



10. INSTALL LOWER BACK PANEL GARNISH

  1. Attach the 5 clips, 2 guides and 6 claws to install the lower back panel garnish.



11. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Cushion)


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Attach the 2 hooks.

  1. Attach the hook to install the rear seat cushion assembly LH.



12. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Seat Cushion)
HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.


13. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

14. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (HILUX_TGN26 RM000004QR300CX.html).
