Occupant Detection Sensor Installation

Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover RH to the seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

NOTICE:

1. Be careful not to damage the cover.
   
2. When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.
   

Attach the hooks to install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad to the front seat cushion frame sub-assembly RH.

Bend the 2 front seat cushion frame claws downward.

Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the front cushion frame sub-assembly RH with new hog rings.

Attach the wire harness clamp.

Install the separate type front seatback assembly RH with the 4 bolts.

Torque:

40 N*m{408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf}

Install the seatback spring RH.

Attach the guide, and then attach the 2 hooks in the order shown in the illustration to install the front seat cushion shield RH.

Install the 2 screws.

Attach the claw to install the reclining adjuster release handle RH.

Attach the 2 hooks in the order shown in the illustration to install the front seat cushion shield RH.

Install the 2 screws.

Install the front seat cushion cover RH.

w/ Front Passenger Seat Belt Warning System:

1. Install the front seat inner belt assembly LH with the nut.
   

   Torque:

   42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}

   NOTICE:

   Do not allow the anchor part of the seat belt to overlap the protruding part of the seat adjuster.

2. Attach the wire harness to the clamp.
   





3. Attach the 2 clamps as shown in the illustration.

4. Using hog ring pliers, attach the cover to front cushion frame subassembly with new hog rings.

w/o Front Passenger Seat Belt Warning System:

1. Install the inner belt with the nut.
   

   Torque:

   42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}

   NOTICE:

   Do not allow the anchor part of the seat belt to overlap the protruding part of the seat adjuster.
