DESCRIPTION

The television camera ECU receives a reverse signal from the park/neutral position switch (A/T) or back-up light switch (M/T).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK BACK-UP LIGHT

Move the shift lever to the R position and check if the back-up light comes on.

  • OK:
  • The back-up light comes on.

Move the shift lever to the position other than R and check if the back-up light does not come on.

  • OK:
  • The back-up light does not come on.

Disconnect the television camera ECU connector J92 and park/neutral position SW (A/T) or back-up light SW (M/T) connector.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
