METER / GAUGE SYSTEM - Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge Malfunction


DESCRIPTION

In this circuit, the meter CPU receives engine coolant temperature signals from the ECM. The meter CPU displays engine coolant temperature that is calculated based on the data received from the ECM.

    3. for 2TR-FE, w/o Secondary Air Injection System (HILUX_TGN26 RM000000PDK12KX.html).
    4. for 2TR-FBE (HILUX_TGN26 RM000000PDK12LX.html).
    OK:
    No DTCs are output.

3.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY - ECM)

  1. Disconnect the G19 combination meter assembly connector.

  1. Disconnect the G88*1, C97*2 or G154*3 ECM connector.

    1. *1: for 2TR-FE
    2. *2: for 2TR-FBE
    3. *3: for 1GR-FE

  1. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

    Standard Resistance:
    for 2TR-FE
