Headlight Dimmer Switch Removal


  1. REMOVE SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

Headlight Dimmer Switch -- Removal


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
  2. The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


1. REMOVE SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the spiral cable sub-assembly (LandCruiser RM000002O8X02DX.html).



2. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

  1. w/ Rain Sensor:
    Disconnect the connector.



    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

  1. w/o Rain Sensor:
    Disconnect the 2 connectors.

  1. Detach the claw and remove the windshield wiper switch assembly.



3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. While loosening the band clamp as shown in the illustration, detach the claw to remove the headlight dimmer switch.

    NOTICE:
    If the claw is pressed forcefully, it will break.
