DTC B15F6 Main Body ECU Vehicle Information Reading/Writing Process Malfunction


DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) cannot be customized via the navigation system vehicle customization screen.
HINT:
The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) controls the items for the following systems that are customizable via the navigation receiver assembly screen:
  1. Power door lock control system
  2. Wireless door lock control system
  3. Lighting system (INT)
  4. Lighting system (EXT)

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

When replacing the navigation receiver assembly, it is necessary to perform the vehicle contract setting for Connected Services (w/ Connected Services Function).

  1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

    1. for LHD : LandCruiser RM000001RSO0C5X.html
    2. for RHD : LandCruiser RM000001RSO0BZX.html
    OK:
    CAN communication DTCs are not output.

6.CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS

  1. Display the "Vehicle Customization" screen.

  1. Make a note of the customizable items for each main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) related system.

    HINT:
    These items shown as customizable via the navigation receiver assembly vehicle customization screen can also be changed using the GTS. In a following step, the GTS will be used.

    1. To match-up the items in the navigation receiver assembly with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the power door lock control system related items that can be customized via the navigation receiver assembly screen (LandCruiser RM000005C7I004X.html).

    2. To match-up the items in the navigation receiver assembly with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the wireless door lock control system related items that can be customized via the navigation receiver assembly screen (LandCruiser RM000005C7K004X.html).

    3. To match-up the items in the navigation receiver assembly with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the lighting system (INT) related items that can be customized via the navigation receiver assembly screen (LandCruiser RM000004DJO00UX.html).

    4. To match-up the items in the navigation receiver assembly with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the lighting system (EXT) related items that can be customized via the navigation receiver assembly screen (LandCruiser RM000004DJV00WX.html).

  1. Using the GTS, confirm that it is possible to change the settings of the customize parameters that are available for customization via the navigation receiver assembly screen.

    OK:
    The items available for customization via the navigation receiver assembly screen can be customized successfully using the GTS.
