Water Pump Removal


  1. REMOVE THERMOSTAT

  2. DISCONNECT NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS PIPE

  3. DISCONNECT NO. 1 TURBO WATER HOSE

  4. REMOVE ENGINE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY

Water Pump -- Removal



1. REMOVE THERMOSTAT

2. DISCONNECT NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS PIPE


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

  1. Detach the wire harness clamp and disconnect the 2 connectors from the turbocharger sub-assembly.

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and disconnect the No. 1 water by-pass pipe from the engine water pump assembly.

  1. Remove the gasket from the No. 1 water by-pass pipe.



3. DISCONNECT NO. 1 TURBO WATER HOSE

  1. Slide the hose clamp and disconnect the No. 1 turbo water hose from the engine water pump assembly.



4. REMOVE ENGINE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 8 bolts, engine water pump assembly and gasket.
