Front Shock Absorber With Coil Spring -- Removal |
| 1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL |
| 2. DISCONNECT FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH |

Remove the nut and disconnect the stabilizer link from the steering knuckle.
- HINT:
- If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud in place.
| 3. DISCONNECT FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedures described for the LH side.
| 4. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET |
Remove the front stabilizer bracket (Toyota Fortuner RM0000010OY002X.html).
| 5. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR |
Remove the front stabilizer bar (Toyota Fortuner RM0000010OY002X.html).
| 6. REMOVE FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING |

Remove the nut and bolt.
- HINT:
- While fixing the nut in place, loosen and remove the bolt.
Remove the 3 nuts and shock absorber with coil spring.
