DTC C1210 Zero Point Calibration of Yaw Rate Sensor Undone |
DTC C1336 Zero Point Calibration of Acceleration Sensor Undone |
DESCRIPTION
The skid control ECU receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor via the CAN communication system. The yaw rate sensor has a built-in acceleration sensor and detects the vehicle's condition using 2 circuits (GL1, GL2). If there is trouble in the bus lines between the yaw rate and acceleration sensor and the CAN communication system, DTCs U0123 (yaw rate sensor communication trouble) and U0124 (acceleration sensor communication trouble) are stored. The DTCs are also stored when calibration has not been completed.DTC Code
| DTC Detection Condition
| Trouble Area
|
C1210
| Zero point calibration of the yaw rate sensor is incomplete.
| - Yaw rate and acceleration sensor
- Brake actuator assembly (Skid control ECU)
|
C1336
| Zero point calibration of the acceleration sensor is incomplete.
| - Yaw rate and acceleration sensor
- Brake actuator assembly (Skid control ECU)

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
- NOTICE:
- When replacing the brake actuator assembly and/or yaw rate and acceleration sensor, perform calibration (LandCruiser RM000000XHR0BKX.html).
- HINT:
- When DTC U0123, U0124 and/or U0126 is output along with DTC C1210 and/or C1336, inspect and repair trouble areas indicated by DTC U0123, U0124 and/or U0126 first (LandCruiser RM000000YUO0T0X.html).
1.PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION OF YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR |
Perform zero point calibration of the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (LandCruiser RM000000XHR0BKX.html).
2.PERFORM TEST MODE (SIGNAL CHECK) |
Turn the ignition switch off.
Perform the sensor check in the test mode procedure (LandCruiser RM000000XHT0EPX.html).
- OK:
- All test mode DTCs are cleared.
3.CHECK YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR INSTALLATION |
Turn the ignition switch off.
Check that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor is installed properly (LandCruiser RM000000SS207WX.html).
- OK:
- The sensor is tightened to the specified torque.
- The sensor is not installed at an angle.
4.READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR) |
Turn the ignition switch off.
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the intelligent tester on.
Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRC / Data List.
ABS/VSC/TRCTester Display

Check the yaw rate and acceleration sensor output value displayed on the intelligent tester.
- OK:
- The yaw rate and acceleration sensor output value is normal.
- NOTICE:
- Check the yaw rate and acceleration sensor signal after replacement (LandCruiser RM000000XHT0EPX.html).
