Yaw Rate And Acceleration Sensor -- Removal |
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- CAUTION:
- Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
- NOTICE:
- After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (LandCruiser RM000003YMD00TX.html).
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (LandCruiser RM000003YMF011X.html).
2. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY |
for Automatic Transmission:

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Bench Seat Type) |
4. REMOVE CENTER FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY (for Bench Seat Type) |
Remove the 4 bolts and center floor carpet assembly.

5. REMOVE YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR |
Remove the 2 bolts and yaw rate and acceleration sensor.

Disconnect the connector.
for Automatic Transmission:
Detach the clamp from the sensor bracket.
