Disconnect the L52 power back door unit assembly (power back door ECU) connector.

When the back door is open and the cable is disconnected and reconnected to the negative (-) battery terminal, fully close the back door by hand.

Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

Power back door open operation conditions:

If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

The power back door unit assembly (power back door ECU) receives a switch signal from the back door control switch, power back door control switch, or transmitter switch, operates the power back door motor built into the power back door unit assembly (power back door ECU), and causes the back door to automatically open and close.
