INSPECTION PROCEDURE

READ VALUE USING GTS (MAIN BODY)

READ VALUE USING GTS (RL-DOOR MOTOR)

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (RL-DOOR MOTOR)

INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH - REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH)

DESCRIPTION

1. When the ignition switch is ON, the rear power window regulator motor assembly LH is operated by the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for Rear LH Door). The rear power window regulator motor assembly LH has motor, regulator and ECU functions.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:

1. The power window control system uses the LIN communication system. Inspect the communication function by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting. Troubleshoot the power window control system after confirming that the communication system is functioning properly (LandCruiser RM000000PY206VX.html).
   
2. If the rear power window regulator motor assembly LH has been replaced with a new one, initialize the power window control system (LandCruiser RM0000011V20BLX.html).
   
3. Check that the window lock switch is off before performing the following procedure.
   
4. Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following procedure.
   

1. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS (LandCruiser RM0000027QL04NX.html).

   OK:

1. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS (LandCruiser RM0000027QL04NX.html).

   OK:

   On the GTS screen, ON or OFF is displayed accordingly.
   

1. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS (LandCruiser RM0000027QL04NX.html).
   

   CAUTION:

   Be careful to avoid injuries as this test causes vehicle parts to move. During the Active Test, the jam protection function will not operate.

   
   

   RL-Door Motor

   HINT:

   Up and down movement does not occur if the arrow is not pressed and held.

   OK:

   Rear LH power window operates normally.
   

1. Remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly LH (LandCruiser RM000002STU0ATX.html).
   

2. Inspect the rear power window regulator switch assembly LH (LandCruiser RM000002R1K05GX.html).
   

1. Disconnect the M2 rear power window regulator switch connector.
   

2. Disconnect the M4 power window regulator motor connector.
   

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
   

   Standard Resistance:

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   M2-6 (UP) - M4-10 (UP)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   M2-7 (DOWN) - M4-7 (DOWN)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   M2-6 (UP) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
