IGNITION KEY CYLINDER LIGHT - INSPECTION

1. INSPECT TRANSPONDER KEY AMPLIFIER

Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the LED illumination.

  • OK:
  • Measurement ConditionSpecified Condition
    Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (ILL+)
    Battery negative (-) → Terminal 6 (ILL-)    		LED illuminates

If the result is not as specified, replace the transponder key amplifier.
