1. INSPECT GLOVE BOX LIGHT


    Lexus Is250, Is220D. Gse20 Ale20.Lighting.Lighting System.Glove Box Light Inspection

  1. Remove the glove box light.

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    J56-2 - J56-1
    		Glove box is opened
    		10 to 14 V
    J56-2 - J56-1
    		Glove box is closed
    		Below 1 V
    If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.

  1. Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the (-) lead to terminal 1.

  1. Check that the glove box light comes on.

    OK:
    Comes on
    If the result is not as specified, replace the glove box light.
