- Use these procedures to troubleshoot the pre-crash safety system.
- The intelligent tester should be used in steps 2, 3, 4 and 6.

Use the intelligent tester to check if the multiplex communication system is functioning normally.

3.CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM |
Use the intelligent tester to check for normally functioning of CAN communication system.
Perform bus check (Communication malfunctioning DTC).
Perform bus check (Communication Bus check).

| Go to CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM |

Check for DTCs.
Record the DTCs.
Clear the DTCs.
Recheck for DTCs.
Attempt to duplicate the malfunction and check if the DTCs are output again (Click here).
