Heater Glow Plug Removal

  1. REMOVE HEATER WATER OUTLET HOSE

  2. REMOVE HEATER WATER INLET HOSE

  3. REMOVE WATER BY-PASS GLOW PLUG

Heater Glow Plug -- Removal



1. REMOVE HEATER WATER OUTLET HOSE


    Lexus Is250, Is220D. Gse20 Ale20

  1. Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the heater water outlet hose.



2. REMOVE HEATER WATER INLET HOSE
HINT:
Disconnection of the heater water outlet hose is the same as for the heater water inlet hose.


3. REMOVE WATER BY-PASS GLOW PLUG

  1. Remove the 2 grommets, 2 nuts, 2 spring washers, and 2 washers. Disconnect the heater blower wire.

  1. Remove the water by-pass glow plug.

    NOTICE:
    Prepare a container or a piece of cloth in case of coolant leakage.
