This DTC is output when there is a LIN communication problem between the power source control ECU and certification ECU or when there is a problem in the engine immobiliser system.

  1. Cable and BEAN are abnormal between the power source control ECU and the immobiliser system
  2. The immobiliser system is malfunctioning
  1. Power source control ECU
  2. Engine immobiliser system
  3. Wire harness or connector
  4. Certification ECU

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK FOR DTCS

  1. Delete the DTCs (Click here).

  1. Check for DTCs again.

    OK:
    DTC B2287, B2784 and B2785 are not output.
    HINT:
    1. If DTCs B2287, B2784 and B2785 are output, inspect those DTCs first (Click here).
    2. If DTCs B2287, B2784 and B2785 are not output, refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE of the entry and start system (ID code matching inside the cabin cannot be performed) (Click here).
