  1. INSTALL VENTILATION VALVE

  2. CONNECT VENTILATION HOSE

  3. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

Ventilation Valve -- Installation



1. INSTALL VENTILATION VALVE


    Lexus Is250, Is220D. Gse20 Ale20.4Gr-Fse Emission Control.Emission Control System.Ventilation Valve Installation

  1. Install the ventilation valve.

    1. Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads.

      Adhesive:
      Part No. 08833-00070, THREE BOND 1324 or equivalent.

    2. Install the ventilation valve.

      Torque:
      27 N*m{275 kgf*cm, 20 ft.*lbf}


2. CONNECT VENTILATION HOSE


    Lexus Is250, Is220D. Gse20 Ale20

  1. Connect the ventilation hose to the ventilation valve.



3. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Lexus Is250, Is220D. Gse20 Ale20

  1. Engage the 2 clips on the front of the cover, and then engage the clip on the rear to install the V-bank cover.

    NOTICE:
    1. Be sure to engage the clips securely.
    2. Do not apply excessive force or do not hit the cover to engage the clips. This may cause the cover to break.
