  1. Remove the No. 1 engine cover.

  1. Pinch the clip as illustrated, and then pull out the vacuum switching valve connector (*1).

  1. Disconnect the 2 vacuum hoses (*2).

  1. Using a hexagon socket wrench, remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly (*3).
