  1. Inspect the resistance.

    1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance:
      Terminals
      		Condition
      		Resistance
      1 (+B) - 5 (EGRS)
      		20°C (68°F)
      		6.5 to 7.5 Ω
      3 (VC) - 2 (E2)
      		Always
      		2.4 to 4.6 kΩ
      HINT:
      The temperature indicated in "Condition" is the temperature of the EGR valve assembly.
      If the result is not as specified, replace the EGR valve assembly.
