- According to the Data List displayed on the intelligent tester, the value and status of the switch, sensor, actuator, etc. can be obtained without part removal. Reading the Data List as the first step in troubleshooting is one way to shorten labor time.
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
From the display on the tester, read the "Data List".
