Extension Housing Rear Oil Seal -- Installation |
| 1. INSTALL AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION EXTENSION HOUSING OIL SEAL |
Coat the lip of a new oil seal with MP grease.
Using SST and a hammer, drive in the oil seal with the lip facing inside of the automatic transmission.

- Oil seal depth from flat end:
- 1.8 to 2.2 mm (0.07 to 0.09 in.)

| 2. INSTALL AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLANGE YOKE ASSEMBLY |
Using SST and a hammer, drive in a new oil seal.

Install the automatic transmission flange yoke.
Set the SST.

09950-30012(09955-03040)
Using SST and 30 mm socket wrench, install and tighten a new nut.
- Torque:
- 126 N*m{1,285 kgf*cm, 93 ft.*lbf}
 |
Using a chisel and hammer, securely stake the nut.

| 4. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY |
| 5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
| 6. ADD AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID |
| 7. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER NO.2 |
| 8. PERFORM INITIALIZATION |
| 9. CHECK FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAKS |
