Vacuum Switching Valve (For Evap) Removal

3Gr-Fe Emission Control. Lexus Gs430, Gs300. Uzs190 Grs190

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

  3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH

  4. REMOVE VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (for EVAP)

Vacuum Switching Valve (For Evap) -- Removal



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.


2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL


    Lexus Gs430, Gs300. Uzs190 Grs190.3Gr-Fe Emission Control.Emission Control System.Vacuum Switching Valve (For Evap) Removal

  1. Remove the 7 clips and duct seal.



3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH


    Lexus Gs430, Gs300. Uzs190 Grs190.3Gr-Fe Emission Control.Emission Control System.Vacuum Switching Valve (For Evap) Removal

  1. Loosen the nut and remove the 2 clips and side cover.



4. REMOVE VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (for EVAP)


Lexus Gs430, Gs300. Uzs190 Grs190

  1. Disconnect the connector and clamp.

  1. Disconnect the 2 hoses.

  1. Remove the VSV from the intake air connector.
