  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH

  3. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH (w/o Air Cooled Transmission Oil Cooler)

  4. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER AIR DUCT (w/ Air Cooled Transmission Oil Cooler)

  5. REMOVE WINCH ASSEMBLY

Winch Unit -- Removal



1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

2. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH

  1. Using a clip remover, remove the 4 clips, and remove the radiator side deflector LH.



3. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH (w/o Air Cooled Transmission Oil Cooler)

  1. Using a clip remover, remove the 4 clips, and remove the radiator side deflector RH.



4. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER AIR DUCT (w/ Air Cooled Transmission Oil Cooler)

  1. Remove the 4 bolts and transmission oil cooler air duct.



5. REMOVE WINCH ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 9 bolts and mounting bracket.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and move the cover in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Remove the nut and disconnect the wire.

  1. Using a crane or equivalent, remove the winch assembly.

    CAUTION:
    Be careful as the winch assembly is very heavy.
