  1. REMOVE FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Wide View Front Monitor System)

  2. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SEAL

  3. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

Radiator Grille -- Disassembly




1. REMOVE FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Wide View Front Monitor System)


2. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SEAL


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Detach the 14 clips and remove the upper radiator seal.



3. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)
HINT:
When removing the radiator grille emblem, heat the radiator grille and radiator grille emblem using a heat light.

NOTICE:
Do not heat the radiator grille and radiator grille emblem excessively.

  1. Put protective tape around the radiator grille emblem.

  1. Insert a piano wire between the radiator grille and radiator grille emblem.

    HINT:
    Be careful of the boss position.

  1. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.

  1. Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the radiator grille emblem to the radiator grille.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to damage the radiator grille.

  1. Remove the radiator grille emblem.



4. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

  1. Remove the 3 spring nuts.

  1. Detach the claw and remove the radiator grille emblem.
