REMOVE NO. 2 FRAME WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)
REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)
Rear Bumper (W/ Towing Hitch) -- Disassembly |
| 1. REMOVE NO. 2 FRAME WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System) |
Disconnect the 4 connectors.
Detach the 12 clamps and remove the No. 2 frame wire.
| 2. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System) |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure for both No. 2 ultrasonic sensors.
Disconnect the 4 connectors.
Detach the claw and remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor as shown in the illustration.
| 3. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER |
Detach the 8 claws and remove the rear bumper energy absorber.

| 4. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH |
Remove the 3 screws.
 |
Detach the guide and remove the reflex reflector assembly LH.
| 5. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
| 6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER LOWER COVER |
Remove the clip.
 |
Detach the 4 claws and rear lower bumper cover.
| 7. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 STEP COVER |
Remove the 2 screws and 2 clips.
 |
Detach the 6 claws and remove the rear No. 2 step cover.
| 8. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD LH |
Remove the rear bumper pad LH.
 |
| 9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD RH |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
| 10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER STEP CUSHION |
Remove the rear bumper step cushion.
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure for all rear bumper step cushions.
