Rear Light Assembly Disassembly

  1. REMOVE REAR LIGHT GASKET LH

  2. REMOVE REAR LIGHT PACKING

  3. REMOVE REAR LIGHT PACKING LH

  4. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION BACK COVER LH

  5. REMOVE BACK UP LIGHT BULB

  6. REMOVE REAR LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE LH

Rear Light Assembly -- Disassembly


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  2. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


1. REMOVE REAR LIGHT GASKET LH


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Remove the rear light gasket LH.

    NOTICE:
    The gasket must not be reused.


2. REMOVE REAR LIGHT PACKING


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Remove the 3 rear light packings.

    NOTICE:
    The packing must not be reused.


3. REMOVE REAR LIGHT PACKING LH


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Remove the rear light packing LH.

    NOTICE:
    The packing must not be reused.


4. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION BACK COVER LH


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Detach the 3 claws and remove the rear combination back cover LH.



5. REMOVE BACK UP LIGHT BULB


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise until the bulb socket stops.



    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Remove the back up light bulb from the bulb socket.



6. REMOVE REAR LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE LH


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Detach the 3 wire harness clamps and remove the rear light socket and wire LH.
