  1. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT COVER (w/ Projector Headlight)

  2. REMOVE HEADLIGHT GASKET (w/ Projector Headlight)

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 HEADLIGHT BULB (w/ Projector Headlight)

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (w/ Projector Headlight)

  5. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB (w/ Projector Headlight)

  6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR LH (w/ Projector Headlight)

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (w/o Projector Headlight)

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 HEADLIGHT BULB (w/o Projector Headlight)

  9. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB (w/o Projector Headlight)

  10. REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB (w/o Projector Headlight)

  11. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR LH (w/o Projector Headlight)

Headlight Assembly (For Halogen Headlight) -- Disassembly


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  2. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


1. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT COVER (w/ Projector Headlight)


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Turn the No. 1 headlight cover in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and remove the No. 1 headlight cover.



2. REMOVE HEADLIGHT GASKET (w/ Projector Headlight)

  1. Remove the headlight gasket from the No. 1 headlight cover.



3. REMOVE NO. 2 HEADLIGHT BULB (w/ Projector Headlight)


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Turn the No. 2 headlight bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and remove the No. 2 headlight bulb.

    NOTICE:
    Do not touch the glass part of the No. 2 headlight bulb.


4. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (w/ Projector Headlight)


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Turn the No. 1 headlight bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and remove the No. 1 headlight bulb.

    NOTICE:
    Do not touch the No. 1 headlight bulb glass.


5. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB (w/ Projector Headlight)

  1. Turn the socket in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and remove the socket.

  1. Remove the front turn signal light bulb from the socket.



6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR LH (w/ Projector Headlight)


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200.Lighting (Ext).Lighting System.Headlight Assembly (For Halogen Headlight) Disassembly

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Turn the motor in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration to disconnect it.

  1. Turn the aiming screw in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration to disconnect the shaft.

  1. Pull the headlight leveling motor LH in the direction indicated by the arrow (3) in the illustration to remove it.



7. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (w/o Projector Headlight)


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Turn the No. 1 headlight bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and remove the No. 1 headlight bulb.

    NOTICE:
    Do not touch the glass part of the No. 1 headlight bulb.


8. REMOVE NO. 2 HEADLIGHT BULB (w/o Projector Headlight)


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Turn the No. 2 headlight bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and remove the No. 2 headlight bulb.

    NOTICE:
    Do not touch the glass part of the No. 2 headlight bulb.


9. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB (w/o Projector Headlight)

  1. Turn the socket in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and remove the socket.

  1. Remove the front turn signal light bulb from the socket.



10. REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB (w/o Projector Headlight)

  1. Turn the socket in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and remove the socket.

  1. Remove the clearance light bulb from the socket.



11. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR LH (w/o Projector Headlight)

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Turn the motor in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration to disconnect it.

  1. Turn the aiming screw in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration to disconnect the shaft.

  1. Pull the headlight leveling motor LH in the direction indicated by the arrow (3) in the illustration to remove it.
