DTC B2432 Lost Communication with Automatic High Beam Sensor


DESCRIPTION

  1. DTC B124D is stored when the main body ECU detects malfunctions in the LIN communication system.
  2. DTC B2432 is stored when the Headlight swivel ECU detects malfunctions in the LIN communication system.

NOTICE:
First perform the communication function inspections in How to Proceed with Troubleshooting to confirm that there are no CAN communication malfunctions before troubleshooting this symptom.
1.CHECK FOR DTC

  1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

  1. Check for DTCs (Click here).

    OK:
    DTC B124D or B2432 is not output.

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK (Click here)

2.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT ECU - INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR)

  1. Disconnect the E101*1 or E109*2 ECU connector.

    1. *1: w/ Dynamic Headlight Auto Leveling
    2. *2: w/ Static Headlight Auto Leveling

  1. Disconnect the R16 mirror connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    w/ Dynamic Headlight Auto Leveling
    Tester Connection

    E101-11 (RH+) - R16-10 (LIN)
    		Always
    		Below 1 Ω
    E101-11 (RH+) - Body ground
