READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR RH)

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH - FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR)

INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY

DESCRIPTION

1. If the auto up/down function does not operate, the cause may be one or more of the following:
   

1. The ECU in the power window regulator motor determines that the power window regulator motor has not been initialized.
   
2. The power window regulator switch has a malfunction.
   
3. The Hall-IC in the power window regulator motor has a malfunction.
   
4. There is an open or short in the wiring between the power window regulator switch and the passenger side power window regulator motor.

1. Check that the front passenger side door power window moves when the manual up/down function of the power window regulator switch is operated (Click here).
   

   OK:

   front passenger side door power window moves.
   

1. Use the Data List to check if the power window regulator motor is functioning properly (Click here).
   
   

   P-Door Motor

   OK:

   The display changes according to operation of the power window regulator switch.
   

1. Disconnect the I3*1 or I25*2 switch connector.
   

   HINT:

   1. *1: for LHD
      
   2. *2: for RHD
      

2. Disconnect the I4*1 or I12*2 motor connector.
   

   HINT:

   1. *1: for LHD
      
   2. *2: for RHD
      

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
   
   

   Standard Resistance:

   for LHD

   I3-8 (AUTO) or I4-4 (AUTO) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   for RHD

1. Remove the power window regulator switch (Click here).
   

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
   
   

   Standard Resistance:

   for LHD
