2.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WIRING AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS SUB-ASSEMBLY - BATTERY)

    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200
  1. Disconnect the wiring air conditioning harness sub-assembly connector.

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Voltage:
    Tester Connection
    Switch Condition
    Specified Condition
    2 - Body ground
    Ignition switch off
    Below 1 V

3.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WIRING AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS SUB-ASSEMBLY - AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY)
  1. Disconnect the wiring air conditioning harness sub-assembly connector.

  1. Disconnect the E36 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    Condition
    Specified Condition
    3 - E36-19 (RMGV)
    Always
    Below 1 Ω
    3 or E36-19 (RMGV) - Body ground
    Always
    10 kΩ or higher

NG
REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK

4.CHECK REAR COOLING UNIT EXPANSION VALVE
  1. Replace the rear cooling unit expansion valve with a new or known good one and check that the condition returns to normal. (Click here)

    HINT:
Since the rear cooling unit expansion valve cannot be inspected while it is removed from the vehicle, replace the rear cooling unit expansion valve with a new or known good one and check that the condition returns to normal.
    OK:
    Same problem does not occur.

Go to step 5
OK

END (REAR COOLING UNIT EXPANSION VALVE WAS DEFECTIVE)

5.CHECK WIRING AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS SUB-ASSEMBLY (OPERATION)
  1. Replace the wiring air conditioning harness sub-assembly with a new or known good one and check that the condition returns to normal.

    OK:
    Same problem does not occur.

NG
