Rear No. 1 Seat Assembly (For 60/40 Split Seat Type 60 Side) -- Disassembly |

- Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
- The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.
| 1. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER BOLT COVER |
 |
Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
| 2. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH |
 |
Remove the screw and release handle.
| 3. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT RECLINING COVER LH |
 |
Remove the 2 screws.
Detach the 3 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and then remove the cover.
| 4. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT RECLINING COVER RH |
 |
Remove the 2 screws.
Detach the 4 claws and remove the cover.
| 5. REMOVE UPPER SEAT TRACK RAIL COVER LH |
 |
Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
| 6. REMOVE UPPER SEAT TRACK RAIL COVER RH |

Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
| 7. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION COVER |

Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 covers.
| 8. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT LEG SIDE COVER |
Remove the 4 screws and detach the 4 claws.
 |
Remove the bolt that is securing the fold seat stopper band and remove the seat leg side cover together with the fold seat stopper band.
 |
| 9. REMOVE FOLD SEAT STOPPER BAND ASSEMBLY |
Remove the fold seat stopper band from the seat leg side cover.
| 10. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE HINGE FEMALE COVER |

Using a screwdriver, detach the 6 claws and remove the 2 covers.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

Detach the clip and remove the cover.
| 12. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE HINGE MALE COVER RH |
Detach the clip and remove the cover.
| 13. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT PROTECTOR |
w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag:
Detach the claw and remove the wire harness connector.
 |
w/ Seat Heater System:
Detach the claw and remove the wire harness connector.
Using a clip remover, remove the clip.
 |
Detach the claw and remove the seat protector from the seat hinge.
Detach the 2 claws, open the protector and remove wire harness.

w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag:
Detach the wire harness clamp.

w/ Seat Heater System:
Detach the wire harness clamp.
Remove the 2 nuts and hinge.
Detach the cable clamp and disconnect the cable.
 |
| 15. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH |

Remove the 2 nuts and hinge.
| 16. REMOVE SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP |
Detach the claw and open the cap.
 |
Remove the screw and anchor cover cap.
 |
| 17. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK STAY COVER LH |
 |
Remove the screw.
Detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.
| 18. REMOVE REAR UNDER SIDE COVER LH |
Detach the 10 claws.
 |
Remove the 5 screws.
 |
Detach the 2 clips and 2 claws, and remove the cover.
| 19. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION PLATE |
Detach the 3 claws and remove the seat cushion plate.
 |
| 20. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER RH |
 |
Remove the 4 screws.
Detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.
| 21. REMOVE REAR SEAT UNDER TRAY COVER LH |
 |
Remove the 2 screws.
Detach the 4 claws and remove the cover.
| 22. REMOVE REAR SEAT TRACK HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY |
Remove the 2 screws and seat track handle.
 |
Detach the 2 cable clamps and disconnect the 2 cables.
 |
Detach the cable clamp and disconnect the cable.
 |
| 23. REMOVE FOLD SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY |
| 24. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH |
 |
Remove the bolt and belt.
- HINT:
- The No. 1 seat 3 point type belt anchor is fixed with the same bolt as the rear No. 1 seat inner belt LH. Therefore, it becomes disconnected when the bolt is removed.
| 25. DISCONNECT NO. 1 SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY LH |

Disconnect the belt anchor.
| 26. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD |
w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag:
Detach the side airbag wire harness clamps.
Remove the side airbag wire harness through the hole in the seat cushion.
w/ Seat Heater System:
Disconnect the 2 seat heater connectors.
Remove the seatback heater wire harness through the hole in the seat cushion.
Remove the seat cushion cover with pad.
| 27. REMOVE REAR SEPARATE TYPE SEAT CUSHION COVER |
Detach the 3 pieces of fastening tape.
 |
Remove the hog rings and cover.
 |
| 28. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System) |
 |
Cut off the tack pins which fasten the seat heater to the seat cushion cover, and then remove the seat cushion heater from the seat cushion cover.
| 29. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER |
 |
Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the cover.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
| 30. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH |
 |
w/ Center Armrest:
Detach the 2 claws on the top of the board.
Pull up the board to detach the 2 claws on the bottom of the board and remove it.
w/o Center Armrest:
Detach the 3 claws on the top of the board.
Pull up the board to detach the 3 claws on the bottom of the board and remove it.

Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 supports.

Detach the 8 claws and remove the 4 supports.

| 33. REMOVE SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR COVER |

Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

Remove the screw.
Detach the 4 claws and remove the cover.
| 35. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD |
w/ Center Armrest:
Remove the hog rings.
 |
w/o Center Armrest:
Remove the hog rings.
 |
w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag:
Remove the cap nut and seatback cover bracket from the seat frame.
Remove the side airbag wire harness through the hole in the seatback.
w/ Seat Heater System:
Cut the cable tie and disconnect the seatback heater wire harness.
Remove the seatback heater wire harness through the hole in the seatback.
w/ Center Armrest:
Pull the seat belt into the inside of the seat.

w/o Center Armrest:
Pull the seat belt into the inside of the seat.
 |
Remove the seatback cover with pad.

w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag:
Disconnect the seatback cover bracket from the seatback pad.

w/ Center Armrest:
Remove the hog rings and rear seatback cover.
 |
w/o Center Armrest:
Remove the hog rings and rear seatback cover.

Cut off the tack pins which fasten the seatback heater to the seatback cover, and then remove the seatback heater from the seatback cover.

w/ Center Armrest:
Using a T40 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 bolts.
Remove the bolt and stopper plate.
Remove the bush from the stopper plate.

w/o Center Armrest:
Using a T40 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 bolts.
Remove the bolt and stopper plate.
Remove the bush from the stopper plate.

Using a T40 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 bolts and center seat armrest.

Using moulding remover A, lift down direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and detach the 6 claws and 2 guides and remove the rear center seat armrest panel sub-assembly.

Remove the seat center armrest bracket sub-assembly.

Remove the 2 screws.

Detach the 2 claws and remove the rear center seat armrest cup holder sub-assembly.

Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws and remove the shoulder belt hole cover.

Remove the 3 nuts and belt sensor.
Remove the nut and then remove the outer belt.
| 55. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTING CABLE ASSEMBLY LH |
 |
Detach the 2 cable clamps and disconnect the cable.
Detach the clamp and remove the adjusting cable.
| 56. REMOVE NO. 2 FOLD SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY |
 |
Detach the 2 cable clamps and disconnect the cable.
Detach the clamp and remove the lock control cable.
| 57. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH |

LH Side:
Using a T40 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 bolts.
RH Side:
Using a T55 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 bolts.
Remove the seatback frame sub-assembly.
Remove the lower seatback cover.

Detach the 2 cable clamps and disconnect the 2 cables.
Remove the 2 fold seat lock cables.

Remove the 2 nuts and lower seat track bracket.
 |
Cut the cable tie and disconnect the cable.
 |
Detach the 3 cable clamps and disconnect the 3 cables.
Detach the clamp and remove the seat lock cable.

Disconnect the seat wire connector.
Remove the 2 screws and holder bracket.

Remove the bolt and belt.

Using a T40 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 bolts and seat leg assembly.

Using a T40 "TORX" socket, remove the bolt.
Remove the 5 nuts and seat cushion frame.

Remove the bolt and lock control lever.
