DESCRIPTION
Also if Recognition Camera Axis Adjust has not been performed or did not complete normally after the forward recognition camera was replaced with a new one, it stores DTC C1AA9.| DTC No. | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area |

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
- NOTICE:
- When replacing the driving support ECU assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a driving support ECU assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in it will not match the information from the vehicle and a DTC may be stored.
- When replacing the forward recognition camera, replace it with a new one. If a forward recognition camera which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the forward recognition camera will not match the information from the vehicle and a DTC may be stored.
- If the forward recognition camera has been replaced with a new one or the windshield glass has been removed and installed, it is necessary to perform Recognition Camera/Target Position Memory and Recognition Camera Axis Adjust (See page (Click here). If the system is turned on without performing Recognition Camera/Target Position Memory and Recognition Camera Axis Adjust, DTC C1AA9 will be stored.
- First check the CAN communication system by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting. After checking that there are no malfunctions in the CAN communication system, proceed with troubleshooting.

Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Enter the following menus: Chassis / Front Recognition Camera / Trouble Codes.
Check for DTCs (Click here).

- HINT:
- When any forward recognition camera system DTCs are stored, the forward recognition camera system is malfunctioning. Perform troubleshooting for the forward recognition camera system first.

Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Crash 2 / Trouble Codes.
Clear the DTCs (Click here).
Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.
- HINT:
- If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
Check for DTCs (Click here).
