DESCRIPTION
When the pre-crash safety system is operating, the driving support ECU assembly sends brake control signals to the master cylinder solenoid (skid control ECU).When the driving support ECU assembly receives a VSC system malfunction signal from the master cylinder solenoid (skid control ECU) via CAN communication, DTC C1A50 is stored.DTC No.

| While the engine switch is on (IG), the driving support ECU assembly receives a VSC system malfunction signal from the master cylinder solenoid (skid control ECU) for 0.2 seconds or more.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
- NOTICE:
- When replacing the driving support ECU assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a driving support ECU assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in it will not match the information from the vehicle and a DTC may be stored.
- First check the CAN communication system by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting. After checking that there are no malfunctions in the CAN communication system, proceed with troubleshooting.

- After replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform zero point calibration and store the system information (Click here).
1.CHECK DTC OUTPUT (VSC SYSTEM) |
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Trouble Codes.
Check for vehicle stability control system DTCs (Click here).

2.CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM) |
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Crash 2 / Trouble Codes.
Clear the DTCs (Click here).
Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.
- HINT:
- If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
