  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR MOUNTING LOWER BRACKET

  3. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER

  4. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

Engine Hood Courtesy Switch -- Removal

  1. Use the same procedure for LHD and RHD vehicles.
  2. The procedures listed below its for LHD vehicles.


1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER
for Standard (Click here).
w/ Winch (Click here).


2. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR MOUNTING LOWER BRACKET


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Remove the bolt and No. 1 radiator mounting lower bracket.



3. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Remove the 3 screws.

  1. Detach the claw and remove the cover.



4. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and nut.

  1. Disconnect the connector.



    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Disconnect the hood lock control cable and remove the hood lock.
