  1. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK PROTECTOR (w/ Power Back Door)

  2. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

  3. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK COVER

  4. INSTALL REAR ASSIST GRIP REINFORCEMENT (for Face to Face Seat Type)

  5. INSTALL BACK DOOR GARNISH

  6. INSTALL DOOR OPENING SWITCH SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Face to Face Seat Type)

  7. INSTALL NO. 2 BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER (for Face to Face Seat Type)

  8. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP (for Face to Face Seat Type)

  9. INSTALL BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH

  10. INSTALL BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH

  11. INSTALL CENTER BACK DOOR GARNISH

Back Door Lock -- Installation


NOTICE:
  1. When installing a new back door lock assembly, if there is any tape stuck to it, remove the tape.
  2. When installing a new back door lock assembly, if there are any strings attached to it, cut the strings off.


1. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK PROTECTOR (w/ Power Back Door)

  1. Attach the 2 claws to install the protector (A).

  1. Attach the 7 claws to install the protector (B).

  1. Install the screw.



2. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

  1. w/o Power Back Door:

    1. Install the back door lock assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      13 N*m{133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf}

    2. Connect the connector.

  1. w/ Power Back Door:

    1. Install the back door lock assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      13 N*m{133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf}

    2. Attach the guide.

    3. Connect the connector.



3. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK COVER

  1. Attach the 4 claws to install the back door lock cover.



4. INSTALL REAR ASSIST GRIP REINFORCEMENT (for Face to Face Seat Type)

  1. Attach the 2 claws to install the rear assist grip reinforcement.

  1. Install the 3 bolts.



5. INSTALL BACK DOOR GARNISH

  1. Attach the 14 clips to install the back door garnish.



6. INSTALL DOOR OPENING SWITCH SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Face to Face Seat Type)

  1. Attach the 2 claws to install the door opening switch sub-assembly.



7. INSTALL NO. 2 BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER (for Face to Face Seat Type)

  1. Connect the connector.

  1. Attach the 4 claws to install the No. 2 back door service hole cover.



8. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP (for Face to Face Seat Type)

  1. Install the assist grip with the 2 screws.



9. INSTALL BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH

  1. w/o Power Back Door:

    HINT:
    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  1. w/ Power Back Door:

    1. Attach the clip and 4 claws to install the back door side garnish RH.



10. INSTALL BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH

  1. Attach the 3 clips and 2 claws to install the back door side garnish LH.



11. INSTALL CENTER BACK DOOR GARNISH

  1. Attach the 5 clips and 4 claws to install the center back door garnish.
