Steering Heater Switch -- Removal |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
- The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.
| 1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).
| 2. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL |
for Automatic Transmission:
Put protective tape around the upper console panel.
Text in Illustration *a Protective Tape Detach the 8 claws and 5 clips.
Disconnect the connectors and remove the upper console panel.
for Manual Transmission:
Put protective tape around the upper console panel.

Disconnect the connectors and remove the upper console panel.
| 3. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING ASSEMBLY |

Detach the 4 claws and remove the position indicator housing from the floor shift.
| 4. REMOVE REFRESHING SEAT SWITCH |
Detach the 8 claws to remove the refreshing seat switch from the upper console panel.
