INSPECTION PROCEDURE

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (IG, PGND TERMINAL)

READ VALUE USING GTS (IG POWER SUPPLY VOLTAGE)

DTC C15C6/77 IG Power Supply Voltage

DESCRIPTION

The VGRS ECU (steering control ECU) monitors the IG power supply voltage.
If the VGRS ECU (steering control ECU) detects a malfunction, it turns the master warning light on, and stores DTC C15C6/77.

DTC No.
DTC Detection Condition
Trouble Area
C15C6/77
Both conditions are met for approximately 3 seconds or more:
  1. The engine switch is on (IG).
  2. When the difference between the IG and PIG voltages is 4 V or more or the IG voltage is 18.5 V or higher, an open or short in the IG circuit or an internal malfunction in the ECU is detected.
  1. ECU-IG NO. 1 fuse
  2. Battery
  3. Charging system
  4. VGRS ECU (steering control ECU)
  5. Harness or connector
