Tire Pressure Warning System -- How To Proceed With Troubleshooting


HINT:
  1. Use the following procedure to troubleshoot the tire pressure warning system.
  2. *: Use the GTS.


1.VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

    2.ADJUST TIRE PRESSURE*
    1. Turn the engine switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Tire Pressure Monitor / Data List.

    5. Set the pressure of each tire to the specified value (Click here).

      NOTICE:
      Make sure the tires are cooled down when adjusting the tire pressure.
    6. Display "ID Tire Inflation Pressure" in the Data List and check that tire pressure data matches the adjusted tire pressure.

      HINT:
      It takes a few minutes to display the updated tire pressure data.
    7. Perform initialization (Click here).

    8. HINT:
      The warning threshold value changes depending on the driving conditions during initialization. As a result, the tire pressure warning light may not turn off even if the tire pressure is adjusted to the specified pressure.
