  1. REMOVE TAILPIPE ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL UNIT INSULATOR

  4. DISCHARGE SUSPENSION FLUID PRESSURE

  5. REMOVE NO. 7 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE

  6. REMOVE SUSPENSION CONTROL PUMP ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY

Height Control Accumulator -- Removal



1. REMOVE TAILPIPE ASSEMBLY
  1. for 1GR-FE:
    Remove the tailpipe (Click here).

  1. for 1UR-FE:
    Remove the tailpipe (Click here).

  1. for 3UR-FE:
    Remove the tailpipe (Click here).

  1. for 1VD-FTV:
    Remove the tailpipe (Click here).



2. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY
  1. for 1GR-FE:
    Remove the center exhaust pipe (Click here).

  1. for 1UR-FE:
    Remove the center exhaust pipe (Click here).

  1. for 3UR-FE:
    Remove the center exhaust pipe (Click here).

  1. for 1VD-FTV:
    Remove the center exhaust pipe (Click here).



3. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL UNIT INSULATOR

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and insulator from the control unit.



4. DISCHARGE SUSPENSION FLUID PRESSURE


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200
  1. Connect a hose to the bleeder plug for the height control accumulator and loosen the bleeder plug.

  1. Discharge the suspension fluid pressure.

  1. After the fluid pressure has dropped and oil has drained out, tighten the bleeder plug and remove the hose.

    Torque:
    6.9 N*m{70 kgf*cm, 61 in.*lbf}


5. REMOVE NO. 7 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE

  1. Using a union nut wrench, remove the control tube from the control valve and pump accumulator.



6. REMOVE SUSPENSION CONTROL PUMP ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 3 nuts and pump accumulator.
