  1. REMOVE DIFFERENTIAL PROTECTOR ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE REAR DIFFERENTIAL LOCK ACTUATOR PROTECTOR

  3. REMOVE REAR DIFFERENTIAL LOCK COVER WITH POSITION SWITCH

  4. REMOVE DIFFERENTIAL LOCK SHIFT ACTUATOR

Rear Differential Lock Actuator (W/ Differential Lock) -- Removal



1. REMOVE DIFFERENTIAL PROTECTOR ASSEMBLY


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Detach the 2 connector clamps and wire harness clamp.

  1. Remove the bolt, nut and protector.



2. REMOVE REAR DIFFERENTIAL LOCK ACTUATOR PROTECTOR

  1. Remove the 2 nuts and protector.



3. REMOVE REAR DIFFERENTIAL LOCK COVER WITH POSITION SWITCH


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and differential lock cover with position switch.

  1. Using a brass bar and hammer, tap on the cover to remove it.



4. REMOVE DIFFERENTIAL LOCK SHIFT ACTUATOR

  1. Remove the shift fork shaft bolt.

  1. Remove the 4 bolts and differential lock shift actuator.

  1. Using a screwdriver, pull out the actuator and remove the sleeve and shift fork.
