  1. REMOVE FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY LH

  3. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY RH

  4. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION REBOUND STOPPER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  5. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION REBOUND STOPPER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  6. REMOVE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY

Front Differential Carrier Assembly -- Removal



1. REMOVE FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the front propeller shaft (Click here).



2. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Remove the front drive shaft (Click here).



3. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as the LH side.


4. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION REBOUND STOPPER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and suspension rebound stopper LH.



5. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION REBOUND STOPPER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and suspension rebound stopper RH.



6. REMOVE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the breather tube from the front differential union.

  1. Support the front differential with a jack.



    Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200.Axle And Differential.Axle System.Front Differential Carrier Assembly Removal

  1. Remove bolts A and B, and the nut and front differential support assembly.

  1. Remove bolts C and D.

  1. Slowly lower the jack, and remove the front differential carrier.

  1. Remove bolts E and F, and the differential support assembly.
