Manual Transmission System On-Vehicle Inspection

Park the vehicle in a level place.

Remove the transmission filler plug and gasket.

Check that the oil level is within 5 mm (0.196 in.) of the lowest point of the transmission filler plug opening.
If the result is not as specified, add transmission oil.

Oil Grade:

GL-3(GL-4)

Viscosity:

SAE 75W-90

Standard Capacity:

3.0 liters (3.2 US qts, 2.6 Imp. qts)

NOTICE:

1. Problems may occur when the oil level is too high or low.
   
2. After replacing the oil, drive the vehicle and check the oil level again.
   

Inspect for oil leaks when the oil level is low.

Install a new gasket and the transmission filler plug.

Torque:

37 N*m{380 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf}
