Clutch Master Cylinder (For Lhd) Reassembly

Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to the circumference of the cups and the contact surfaces of the piston and clutch master cylinder push rod.

Install the piston and spring to the master cylinder.

Secure the master cylinder in a vise.

Install the clutch master cylinder push rod and plate to the master cylinder.

Using snap ring pliers, install the snap ring while pushing in the clutch master cylinder push rod.

Install the lock nut and cylinder push rod clevis sub-assembly to the clutch master cylinder push rod, and then partially tighten the lock nut.

HINT:

The lock nut will be tightened to a torque specification in the "Inspect and Adjust Clutch Pedal Sub-assembly" procedure (Click here).
